UNDERSTANDING YOUR BUILDING’S MICROBIOME

B4H understands the complex interplay of indoor air factors and microbial communities that influence human physiology and health, including immunity and potential for disease spread.

Each time a person enters a building, they shed approximately 37 million microbes per hour into the surrounding air and onto surfaces. These bacteria and viruses are influenced by unique characteristics of a building to create a community of microbes – the building microbiome. This microbial ecosystem subsequently impacts all building occupants and promotes either health or disease.

Our platform makes visible this microscopic building ecosystem, providing building owners, managers and occupants a critical new technology to definitively understand the indoor microbiome and its impact on human health.
